I am an assitant profesor in the Department of Mathematics at University of North Texas. During Janurary 2021 and June 2023, I was a SEW Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at University of California, San Diego, working with Prof. Li-Tien Cheng and Prof. Bo Li. Before that, I was a Postdoc Research Associate in applied mathematics and plasma physics group at TDS center at Los Alamos National Laboratory under the supervison of Dr. Xianzhu Tang. I received my PhD in 2019 from Department of Mathematics from University of South Carolina under Prof. Xinfeng Liu.

Research and Publications

My research interests are in the area of numerical methods for free boundary problems and mathematics of scientific computing, with applications in ecology specially in the field of population dynamics, phasma physics, computational biology, and biological physics. Please see Research and Publications for more details. My research was supported by research fund at UCSD and the AMS-Simons Travel Grants .
