Texas-Oklahoma  Representations and Automorphic forms IV March 23-24, 2013 University of North Texas

Description:  Texas-Oklahoma Representations and Automorphic forms (TORA) is a series of conferences hosted in rotation by Oklahoma State University, the University of Oklahoma, and the University of North Texas.  The TORA meetings will bring together the automorphic forms and representation theory community of the South Central region to hear about recent research in automorphic forms and representation theory.  For more information see the TORA main page.

• Dates:  Saturday, March 23 and Sunday, March 24, 2013.

• Location:  University of North Texas.

• Schedule of Talks:  The talks will take place in GAB 105.

• Participant support:  We will have funding available.  Priority will be given to junior researchers, to researchers from the South Central US, and to researchers with no other means of support. NOTE: If you would like to apply for funding, please send the following information to Olav Richter by February 18, 2013: Your name, institution, position, Visa type (non US citizens), and estimated travel expenses.

• Accommodations:  We expect all hotels in the area to be fully booked out this weekend, so please let us know by February 18, 2013 for which nights you will need a hotel room (so that our staff can make a reservation for you).  We blocked rooms at the Heritage Inns (nice, 1.5 miles) and the Courtyard Marriott (nice, 3.5 miles) at special UNT rates.  The Courtyard Marriott has a free shuttle service that will take you to the UNT campus.   Another hotel within walking distance is the The Royal Inn (simple, 1 mile).  

• Travel:  The University of North Texas is located in Denton, TX. The mathematics department is in the General Academic Building (GAB), which can be located on the campus map. 

• Parking:  Parking on the weekend will be considered a special event; no permit required.
