1652-1715
| He was a German physician, chemist, and lawyer who prepared boric acid (“sedative salt”). Homberg became interested in science in Magdeburg when Otto von Guericke performed his famous “Magdeburg miracles” with the evacuated hemispheres which sixteen horses could not separate. | ||
